Photos taken last Saturday during my impromptu visit to the De Young museum. While my girlfriend was having her photos taken in Golden Gate Park for her yoga portfolio, my daughter and I headed to the De Young.

The last time I visited the De Young was back in 2005 when it first opened. I was literally the last person to enter the museum on it's inaugural opening day. There where throngs of patrons at that time, therefore I wasn't able to really enjoy any of the exhibits. This time around was a bit rushed because I had my daughter with me but I was able to soak up some exhibits, or at least the ones that I found most interesting. For a Saturday afternoon the place wasn't that busy as expected. I was able to check out some works by notable artists such as Keith Haring, Josef Albers and Ruth Asawa. Spent about 2 hours perusing the first floor and part of the second. So overall it was well worth $10 general admission price. Will be heading back there again some time in the future and most definitely not another ten years from now.
